Our Methods Development research program supports both our insectarium and our quality control program. New insect colonies and mass production methods are developed in a rearing facility that is isolated from our insectarium. This ensures that the quality or health of our existing colonies is not compromised while we develop new methods or introduce new species and screen them for the presence of pathogens. Our methods development facility is also where we perform contract research services for our clients.

Our research program is also responsible for developing or modifying techniques to detect insect pathogens. This work is conducted within our quality control facility, which is also isolated from our insectarium to ensure the integrity of our colonies.
